We believe that changing the way we produce and distribute food is fundamental to solving the world’s most pressing social and ecological problems.
Spindlebrook is a hand scale, agroecological market garden in South Devon growing delicious, healthy, nutrient dense vegetables & salads for the people of the South Hams, since 2018.
We grow all of our veg' by hand without heavy machinery or harmful chemicals, using innovative modern & traditional hand tools and agroecological techniques which help to build resilient soils abundant with wild life & natural fertility.
Our veg box scheme has run now for 3 years but this year we're converting to a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) veg box scheme! This gives us a structure to offer the opportunity to get closer to the garden and experience how the wider farm habitats and wildlife connect with how your veg is grown.
We're so excited to see how the CSA develops, as we will be using your feedback to help us shape it over time.
Local food supports local economies. Food grown in the local community supports local jobs and encourages variety in our diets. It also requires less transportation, so it's fresher and has a smaller environmental footprint.
When we eat this mouth watering produce we know its good for our health and the health of our local environment.
